Miscarriages are very common, up to one in four pregnancies end in early loss.
But there is still inadequate support, culture and education for those experiencing it.
Journalist Isabelle Oderberg shares her experience dealing with the healthcare system in her book Hard To Bear, and says we need to do better by the many Australian women experiencing this particular grief.
