In 1972 South Australian Premier, Don Dunstan wore 'pink' short-shorts coupled with a white T-shirt to work.

ABC Radio Adelaide's Sonya Feldhoff had a rare opportunity to view his iconic fashion choice up close.

Speaking to the author of 'Don Dunstan; The visionary politician who changed Australia', Angela Woollacott, Feldhoff heard Dunstan's "staff instantly realised this was completely inappropriate".
