ASIC scrutinises cryptocurrency exchange

It's been revealed that two days ago, the financial watchdog raided the Australian offices of Binance - now the world's biggest cryptocurrency exchange.

The raid was part of ASIC's investigation into Binance's now-defunct local derivatives business.

Binance is just the latest international cryptocurrency outfit to come under investigation by authorities around the world.
