As Australia registered its most unlikely cricket World Cup win, Pat Cummins 'nearly' great side became the 'definitively' great side. Tactical captaincy and leadership by example defined Cummins role, while Travis Head's innings may have defined a career. The team enjoyed their victory through a soundtrack of near silence, as more than 90 thousand Indian fans watched their side's campaign wither in real time. Today, Gideon Haigh joins Patrick Stack to pick through the clash and how it might (or might not) shape what is to come. Featured: Gideon Haigh, cricket writer.
